Agogo Citizens Assoc - Washington Metro Area

On Monday 13th of September 2010, a man named Issaka Abudu (a.k.a Hayaa) was shot dead around 2am at Bebusu a suburb of Agogo Asante Akyem North. Issaka in his early fifty’s, a farmer living with his wife Zinabu Ali and four children at Bebusu village.

According Zinabu and what she reported to the father in law Issaka Fuseini, he confirmed to agogoonline that; at exactly 2am Zinabu and the deceased heard a knock on their door, Issaka Abudu waked – up and opened the door and to their surprise they saw four armed Fulani’s with guns.

Immediately they pulled Abudu out of the room when he started receiving beatings from the armed men. Two of them entered the room and asked Zinabu to bring her husband’s gun when she quickly replies there’s no gun in the room. They search the room thoroughly and found nothing when they begun beating Zinabu mercilessly.

These Fulani herdsmen asked the wife of the deceased to sprawl so they could make love to her; she pleaded with them to live her with her four little kids as they pointed the gun on her and commanded her to undressed. Zinabu tried all means to beseech with these armed men but she was ignored and two of the herdsmen forcibly made love to her.

When the two finished and the third person wanted to have her, she overheard one who shouted “let’s go” and they all departed. As they run off Zinabu heard a gun shot. She yielded and run with her four children to her father in law Issaka Fuseini’s house.

On hearing this, he quickly reported the incident to the assemblyman of the village lawyer Navropeh as they all call him in the village. Lawyer Navropeh prompted all the villagers to look for Abudu. The body was found in the shrub dead with a gun shot on the thigh around 3:30am.

Instantaneously lawyer Navropeh sent for the police to come to the prospect which they arrived around 9am. Both Agogo and Konongo policemen made their necessary investigating when they found one life shell and an empty one, after they carried the body to the Agogo general hospital morgue. Moreover, Zinabu was sent to the hospital for medical attention since she complained bitterly of waist pain and the police are seriously investigating the case to know the murderers of Issaka Abudu.
