                                                                            Message from the Chairman

On behalf of Agogo Citizens Association of Washington Metro area, I welcome you all to our website. The Agogo Citizens Association of Washington is a non-profit organization that seeks to promote brotherly love and friendship among its members, foster the development of Agogo state and most importantly promote and celebrate Agogo cultural heritage in the Washington Metro Area. The Agogo Citizens Association of Washington Metro area was founded in 1993. Since the current executive assumed office in November 2008, the creation of website for the Association became our top most priority. We are happy that we finally made it. I therefore thank all members of the Association for their co-operation and effort to make this website a reality. Should you therefore have any questions feel free to let us know.

My special thanks go to Mr. Pese, the Chairman of Agogo Urban Council, Mr. Sulley, the Manager of Agogo Asempa Radio Station, Dr. Thompson and Mr. Mensah of Agogo Hospital.

I am very proud to say that presently we are enjoying the largest enrollment of membership with seriousness and dedication than at any time in the history of the association. Our primary aim is to make our Association increasingly relevant to all Ghanaians and well-wishers. Our efforts will come to nothing if we can't count on the support of you our members. I take this opportunity therefore to appeal to all members to participate actively in our activities. I am positive that together we can make it.
